Common conditions that we treat are listed in the “Conditions” section at the top of this page.

However, we treat far more than that.

Our physiotherapists treat:

  • People with an injury (joint sprains, muscle strains, whiplash, workplace injuries)
  • People in pain (back pain, arthritic pain, chronic pain, complex pain conditions)
  • People with disabilities (NDIS participants, early intervention, home care packages)
  • People who can’t get to a physiotherapy clinic

It is a requirement that our physiotherapists have a minimum of 2 years experience prior to joining Homemade Physiotherapy.  Our team has worked across hospitals, private practice and aged care facilities.

You can read more about each of our physios’ special interests in “The Team” section at the top of this page. That way you can help us choose the best physio for your treatment need.

We service the Illawarra, Kiama and South Coast region from Helensburgh to Nowra. This includes all of Wollongong and surrounding suburbs.

We also service the Wollondilly Shire every Thursday.

We will bring all the equipment needed for your physiotherapy session.

Here are some things to consider before the first visit so that your consultation goes smoothly:

  • Will the physiotherapist be able to arrive, park and unpack equipment at your location?
  • Are there any dangerous animals or pets that the physio should know about?
  • Is there a room or area of your home that you would like to use for physiotherapy?
  • Have you got all the important documentation (scans, referrals, reports) ready for the consultation?

We recommend wearing loose fitting and comfortable clothing.

Your physiotherapist will need to assess your injury and movement. Therefore, a short sleeve shirt and loose shorts are ideal attire for physiotherapy.

We do not recommend wearing:

  • Long sleeves
  • Jeans
  • Yoga pants
  • One piece outfit eg. a dress

You can pay via debit or credit card, bank transfer or cash.

We accept third party payments for NDIS, home care package, CTP and workers compensation.
